Day 10- I am thankful for the Silva family.

Tonight my friend Alyssa called me. She’s currently at Kennesaw State University. I haven’t seen her since October, when she and her dad made their way to Atlanta and surprised me for lunch. I just love this family, every single bit of them. Alyssa has one sister. Her name is Chelsea and she cracks me up. She’s older and goes to Kennesaw as well. Anyways. Alyssa called me tonight and wanted to hang out. We had previous/kind of made plans via Facebook. Her and her family were going out to dinner and she wanted me to come with. That’s what I love too. I love that she thinks of me when it’s time for family dinners. I attend their family dinners, I go on their family vacations, I do so much with them. I always feel like I’m a part of the Silva family. Tonight her dad turned to me during dinner and said, “I love taking you out to dinner. You’re so nice and perky and respectful.” He then wanted to program my number into his ancient block of a cell phone so we could be “restaurant buddies”. Ha! It made me smile. Since I live in Atlanta, he thinks it would be fun if we tried different restaurants and diners together.

If I could spend forever at their house, I totally would. They’re all such great people and I’m so thankful for nights like tonight.
